Montrose Basin is a Scottish Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre and Local Nature Reserve on the North East coast of Scotland, particularly noted for its fantastic array of birds - including pinkfoot geese and redshank. There is a variety of different zones, from fresh and sea water to saltmarsh and reedbad, all abundant with wildlife for visitors to explore. The Visitor Centre hosts brilliant leisure activities and events throughout the year, whilst stressing the importance of co-existence, between the wildlife that resides here and the activities taking place.
