Following Glastonbury’s 48th Festival last weekend, the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort has recreated its popular LEGO® Glastonbury Festival scene in its world-famous Miniland attraction - complete with LEGO® Miniland figures of this year’s headline stars Ed Sheeran, Radiohead and the Foo Fighters.

An eight-year-old from Leeds, the world’s youngest black belt in kickboxing and karate, has been called upon to cast his expert eye over the final days of construction of a brand-new ride at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort.

The Great British Bake Off’s anticipated return for series 7 has been delayed, to make way for the Olympics, but fans disappointed by the news can get a miniature slice of Bake Off action at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. Today the Resort unveiled their homage to the baking phenomena – a 12,186 brick replica of the iconic set complete with stunning 6cm REAL versions of all six winner’s showstopping cakes cooked up in minute detail.

Opens 28 May Guests at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort can download themselves into an all-new 4D film experience starring the LEGO® NEXO KNIGHTS™ this May. In an immersive 4D animated adventure, created especially for LEGOLAND Parks and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres around the world. It’s up to the LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS to defeat the evil Jestro, the Book of Monsters and all their Lava Monsters all set in a 4D world - think wind, water and smoke - bringing the battle to life all around the cinema. AND guests can discover six shields hidden across the Resort, on a quest of their own, to unlock exclusive ‘power ups’ for the LEGO® NEXO KNIGHTS™ Merlok 2.0 mobile app.  

A host of celebrities turned out for the premiere of "The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure” at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort last weekend.  The brand new animation short re-unites the characters from the original theatrical film and are being shown exclusively at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort and at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Manchester since Friday 11 March.

LAST PIECES PUT IN PLACE ON 500,000 LEGO® BRICK DEATH STAR The Death Star, one of the most impressive and biggest LEGO® Star Wars™ models ever created - a 500,000 brick LEGO® Star Wars™ recreation of The Empire’s ultimate super weapon - has been installed at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort.  The operation took three days to complete as the massive new 2.4 metre wide, 3 metre high creation was carefully hoisted into position and the final bricks and scenes were put in place. The hefty 860kg perfectly spherical model took 15 Model Makers three months to build and will be the centrepiece of an epic new finale at the LEGO®Star Wars™ Miniland Model Display when the Resort opens on 11 March.

NEW THIS EASTER AT  THE LEGOLAND® WINDSOR RESORT “THE LEGO® MOVIE™ 4D A NEW ADVENTURE” This Easter "The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure”, an ALL NEW 4D attraction, re-unites the characters from the original movie (from Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures and The LEGO® Group) at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, giving Fans a fresh fix of their favourite heroes.  The new attraction also brings together some of the original voices, features an entirely new plot and mixed with amazing 4D effects, promises a uniquely imaginative interactive experience.

At the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, this Christmas season promises to be the most awesome yet! Jam packed with more rides and attractions, awesome Christmas themed activities and more festive fun around the Resort than ever before. Plus, of course, Father Christmas and his elves will be visiting with an extra big sack of LEGO® gifts for little guests on Saturdays and Sundays from 21 November and every day from 12 December until 23 December - with tickets from just £18.75.

It was announced yesterday that Merlin Entertainments will be teaming up with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and The LEGO Group to bring a new 4D animated film, which will be based on the popular characters of The LEGO® Movie™. Warner Bros. Pictures, Village roadshow Pictures and LEGO System A/S will be delivering this film to guests at LEGOLAND® Parks and LEGOLAND® Discovery Centers around the world later on this year, opening exclusively at the six LEGOLAND Parks and eleven LEGOLAND Discovery Centers in North America, Asia and Europe.

On March 21st, British families heading towards sunny Florida will be able to go to LEGOLAND Water Park, as it re-opens for the Easter school holidays, to splash and play.

Any parent who has been through the drama of a child losing a favourite teddy will welcome a new guest initiative at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort this Summer – the LEGOLAND toy reunion service. Designed to rapidly re-unite owners with their mislaid cuddly friends, all families have to do is look for their missing toy on a special Facebook page. 

  Guests at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort Hotel’s Junior Builder Week will enjoy an unforgettable and sensational value break this February half term. 

Keeping Christmas presents a secret from the kids can be a real challenge but the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort is making it easier this year with a special Secret Shopping Service.
