About Cabot Tower and Brandon Hill
Set in the oldest park in Bristol, the top of Cabot Tower boasts some of the best views of Bristol and the harbour. Built at the end of the nineteenth century in celebration of John Cabot's famous voyage to North America four centuries prior, this 105ft tower is now one of Bristol's most stunning and architecturally intersting landmarks. The surrounding park of Brandon Hill can be a wonderful respite from busy urban living, with its nature conservation areas, beautiful greenery and play area, making the entire area a wonderful spot to stop and enjoy one of the more tranquil areas of this amazing city.
