I took my two children aged 5yrs and 8yrs to Activity World on the recommendation of my friend who visits quite regularly. Reading some of the reviews I wasnt to sure what to expect but i must admit i was plesantly surprised. There was a small queue to get in but it was dealt with swiftly and my children went to play. The centre was busy and very noisy but that is what one should expect in a popular play centre. Although there were bins dotted about, I was surprised how a lot of customers made such a mess around their tables and left things lying around before going home, I felt sorry for the staff on having to clean up at the end of the night after a long busy day! We stopped for lunch which I found was reasonably priced and my kids had a fantastic time there. I found the centre acceptably clean and well kept, the staff worked non-stop and were polite and helpful although the older lady in the pink was a bit abrupt when I asked if my kids could do the dig, she said it was too late (at 3.30pm) and they never got a go. We were there for 4 hours and my kids could have stopped on longer. The best bit was we were able to return within 5 days free of charge on production of my receipt. This time I avoided the lady and asked a male member of staff if my kids could go into the dig and he arranged for them to have a go. Overall, I will be returning as my kids really enjoyed playing there and that to me is the most important factor.
