About Llandaff Cathedral
Erected in the 12th century, but a religous presence having been on the site since the sixth, this still functioning cathedral has a fascinating history. Having undergone major architectural upheavals in the past, from the shift to a more temple style church in the nineteenth century, to the repairs from the damage of a german landmine after World War two, the building is still an architectural marvel with a number of features to explore both inside and out. To enhance your visit, guidesheets and books are available to purchase and guided tours are available to be booked for groups and schools.
Please be aware that the Cathedral may have to close at short notice or restrict access, due to events and services.
