About The Poly
The Poly in Falmouth, previously known as The Royal Cornwall Polytenic Society, is a local theatre, archive, cinema and art gallery that has been encouraging innovation and culture for over 175 years. Originally founded by two Daughters of the Fox Family in 1833, drawing together people who were keen to see development and economic growth in Cornwall - in 1835 receiving a Royal Patronage from King William IV. The Poly is a thriving charity which promotes engagement in the arts, sciences and Cornish history and when visiting Cornwall, it is an absolute must see!
