Visitors of all ages are welcomed to Holker Hall and Gardens, the home of the Cavendish family and one of Britains best-loved stately homes. Visit the historical delights in the Main Hall, such as a pair of George II looking-glasses or take a closer look at the Cavendish Family, with the portraits in the magnificent Dining Room. The house is set amongst a stunning backdrop of woodland and formal gardens, which merge into parkland, with things to see and do throughout the year. With spring comes the arrival of thousands of bulbs, with the brilliant displays of rhododendrons, where winter has a calming effect on the woodland garden, with clean and crisp lines of the topiary. Holker Hall and Gardens has so much to offer, from its vast history to its stunning architecture and surroundings.
