About Rapidole Lake
Rapidole lake is a beautiful nature reserve in Weymouth, which is a great place to come whether you are wildlife enthusiast or not. Radipole is an ideal site for both beginners and experienced birdwatchers, where there are all types of birds from the well-known to the more uncommon or rare birds. There is plently for families to do, with stunning walking trails and events throughout the year and brilliant facilities for visitors to use, from the visitor centre and cafe to picnic area and binocular hire. Although a nature reserve in central Weymouth sounds unlikely, once you are on the footpath amongst the reeds and lagoons you would think you are far away in the countryside.
