About Fort Paull

As Yorkshire's only remaining Napoleonic Fortress, Fort Paull is a site with an amazing history to discover. It has been utilised for a number of different roles ever since its construction during the reign of Henry VIII: from a defence for the Humber Ports to a strategic base for Charles I during the Civil War, to what remains today. Set in 10 acres of beautiful countryside, the fort boasts great views of the Humber Estuary as well as a number of fun exhibits that showcase it's history.
