About Church Farm
Covering 175 acres to the south of the village of Ardeley, Church Farm is a mixed ecological farm producing the widest range of free range meat and naturally grown fruit and vegetables. We serve fresh food from the farm at both of our Farm Stores (on site and in Hertford), the Farm Cafe and the Jolly Waggoner Inn.
Church Farm is a Community Interest Company - a social enterprise that aims to benefit people and communities. We offer training and work experience for people with learning difficulties via our care farming programme, Rural Care. We also offer a range of volunteering and internship opportunities for enthusiastic people who are passionate about learning about farming and the countryside.
Church Farm is open to the public everyday from 9.00am to 5.00pm 365 days a year. Walk the footpaths and see where your food comes from. It is free to visit and free to park. Collect a free map and buy some food to help feed the animals, enjoy our woodland play area, indoor Little Farmers barn or relax in our Farm Cafe...
