Celebrate H-2-WOAH with Bristol Aquarium this Week!

Head to Bristol Aquarium and immerse yourself in the wonders of water at H-2-WOAH this May half term.

The harbourside attraction will be welcoming visitors to learn all about water and the aquatic species that live beneath the waves from Saturday 27 May to Sunday 4 June.

Guest Experiences Manager, Hayley Foulkes said: “With 11 talks, feeds and activities everyday this will be such an exciting May Half Term. There will be an opportunity for visitors to feed the fish as well as get involved in some hands on experiments and crafts!

“Visitors can also meet a mermaid on Saturdays and Sundays during May Half Term, as well as every weekend throughout June!” she added.

Discover why learning how to swim isn't just good for your health but can also potentially help save your life. Be inspired by some amazing swimming feats among the resident fishy inhabitants; rays often swim by undulating their bodies like a wave whilst others flap their sides like wings!

Learn how fish live under the water, explore the sciences of the seas and take a behind the scenes mini tour of the Aquarium. Head along to the 2pm daily crafting session and make your very own swimming shark to take home.
