Christmas shopping with a difference at the At-Bristol shop!

Looking for a gift with a difference? This Christmas, the At-Bristol Science Centre shop will be selling a number of fun present idea including: VR kits, Kikkerland critters and robots, whizzy technical devices, build-your-own science kits and much much more – it’s got something whatever your budget is!

In keeping with the ethos of At-Bristol, the shop sells quirky gifts with something just that little bit different – in a range of prices from pocket money and stocking fillers from 25p upwards, through to those really ‘big’ presents if you feel like splurging.

Annual gift membership to At-Bristol is also available, allowing Members to experience a whole year of visits to At-Bristol, starting at just £43 per adult, or £90 for a family of 3 membership. As well as supporting At-Bristol’s charitable aim to make science accessible to all, Members also benefit from 50% off the UK’s first 3D digital Planetarium, as well as discounts in the At-Bristol shop and cafe, and special Members-only events.

Key tech products this year include a Polaroid VR headset (£19.99), light-flow charging cables (£6.95), make-your-own listening devices (£9.99), and DIY synth, gamer and speaker kits (from £25). There are little Kikkerland critters and wind-up robots (from £13.50), and more robot fun to be had with the robot time alarm clock (£14.99).

Following on from the make-your-own themes, there are DIY kits a-plenty for budding astronomers, with make-your-own model Solar Systems, and a home Planetarium projector (£25), as well as a make-your-own movie kit (£13.95) and Animate It! software (£19.99) for wannabee animators.

For little ones, there are marble runs of varying sizes (starting from £4.99), mountains of ever-popular Ty toys, ‘Green Toy’ vehicles and blocks (from £9.95), a wide range of Crazy Aaron’s putty, and lots of seasonal books, as well as quirky colouring books.

There is also a selection of Sass and Belle Christmas decorations, including traditional baubles, as well as some more modern flamingo, unicorn and whale baubles (from £3.50)
