Groombridge Place announces a packed programme of events for Halloween

Have we got a TRICK up our sleeves this Halloween at Groombridge! Join us for a jam packed October half term full of exciting indoor and outdoor treats.

The Groombridge Place entertainments team has plenty of scary events for everyone to enjoy every day from Saturday 26 October to Sunday 3 November.

The daily programme of events will be free with admission and will include all day arts and crafts workshops where children can make their own Halloween mask, witches or wizard hats or halloween decorations to take home. There will be trick or treat game shows and the chance to try your skills in the nurf gun arena.

If you dare, have an encounter with some of our creepy crawlies with the chance to hold a 12 foot snake or a tarantula spider!

There will be two bird of prey displays each day and a special trick or treat puppet show.

(see daily timetable below).

All the popular attractions at Groombridge will also be open including Crusoe's World with its authentic wooden ship complete with rope brides and the enchanted forest with its huge tree swings, zip wire and forest trail full of challenges and mystical secrets.

Visitors can walk round or sit in the peaceful gardens which overlook the 17th century moated manor house. Don't miss a trip on the canal boat or the chance to meet the baby animals.

The beautiful peacocks that roam the grounds can often be seen from the new 'Peacock Bistro' which serves hot and cold drinks, as well as delicious lunches and cream teas.

Groombridge Place is open daily between 9.30am and 5.30pm (last admission 4pm) and has ample free parking.

See website for further details www.groombridgeplace.com or visit www.facebook.com/groombridge.place or follow us on Twitter @EnchantedForest, email [email protected] or call 01892 861444.

The attraction is less than 4 miles from town and accessible by road or via the Spa Valley Railway in Tunbridge Wells which has a station a short walk from the attraction.
