Santa's new grotto and Christmas fun at the Tropical Butterfly House!

Santa is flying on over to the Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife and Falconry Centre in North Anston on Saturday 3rd December! The popular attraction will again be hosting its ‘Santa, Elves and Sleigh Bells’ event and it’s set to be the best year ever!

At weekends throughout December and 19th-24th December, visitors can expect a day filled with festive fun; with free magical tractor sleigh rides through the wintery woods on their way to meet Father Christmas in his brand new grotto!
The wonderous Elf Workshop offers crafts and games for children of all ages including writing a letter to Santa and there will be daily children’s fancy dress competitions. Adults that arrive at the centre in a Christmas jumper will be entered in to a prize draw to win a meerkat experience for four people in the New Year.

This year the amazing twice daily free-flying Bird & Animal Display will also be taking a more festive turn and be based around Charles Dickens' famous tale of a Christmas Carol! The display will feature owls, skunks, rats, parrots, and the ever impressive, and now sadly critically endangered, African white-backed vulture named Zulu.

The Tropical Butterfly House also hosts themed events throughout the year during School Holidays.

Christmas is such a special family time and we enjoy contributing to that festive feeling – when we see the adults playing in the snow machine as much as the children, we know we’ve done our job well."
