The Teddy Bear Museum's GREAT REINDEER HUNT

There may be a problem this Christmas - some of Santa’s Reindeer are Missing!

Britain’s only museum devoted entirely to teddy bears - The Teddy Bear Museum in Dorchester -  has been delightfully decorated for a vintage Christmas celebration, complete with a special Christmas story to guide visitors around the house. But, the teddy bears at the Museum are worried. 

The bears know a thing or two about Santa and are very friendly with his reindeer. They have heard that Santa has lost some of his reindeer and without them his huge task of delivering presents to all those very good children might be delayed!

Santa desperately needs help and the bears at the Teddy Bear Museum have hatched a cunning plan. A reindeer hunt has beeen organized by the human size bears that live at the Museum.  They hope that lots of boys and girls and also grown up ones, will come to the Museum and help in the Great Reindeer Hunt that is taking place in the Museum from now until December 20th and then from December 27 to January 4th. For all those who help the bears and Santa search for his reindeer there will be a delightful Christmas Bear present for everyone who finds one.

The Museum’s curator, Jackie Ridley, says the Museum is a wonderful place at Christmas. “The Museum recreates bygone Christmas’ and is really charming and unique”, she said, “both children and adults love it”.

The Teddy Bear Museum also has an amazing traditional teddy bear shop, stocked with delightful bears to suit everyone this Christmas from unusual stocking fillers to bears for babies, bears for cuddling, gorgeous collectable Steiff bears and unique hand made designer bears. The Teddy Bear Shop can be visited without joining the hunt.

The Teddy Bear Museum is in the heart of Dorchester, Dorset’s historic county town and only a few minutes walk from the main car parks.
