About Redwings Horse Sanctuary Caldecott
Redwings Caldecott is the charity’s largest visitor centre and home to almost 120 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.
While visiting the centre, be sure to find out more about how you can support the work of Redwings by sponsoring one of Caldecott’s residents. A year’s membership to the Redwings Adoption Scheme costs just £15 and makes a perfect gift for a friend or loved one. Caldecott boasts some of Redwings’ most charming Adoption Stars, including adorable donkey Esther, brave Welsh pony Cauli, beautiful mare Victoria, and of course Fox, the handsome Shire Cross!
The friendly Redwings staff also offer regular walking tours and donkey talks, while the Education Centre offers visitors a fun way to find out a little more about all things horsey!
The café is open throughout the day serving tasty refreshments and the gift shop offers a variety of souvenirs and gifts, the proceeds of which go to support the hundreds of equines in the charity’s care. Dogs on leads are welcome at all of Redwings’ visitor centres.
