This is the 'best' Tussauds attraction. My 2yr old thoroughly enjoyed himself. An amazing castle and even better when there is a special event day.

Warwick Castle - educational AND fun If you want to take your kids to see a 'proper castle' and have them enjoy the day, then Warwick Castle is probably the one to pick. For a start, it looks like a proper castle with all the ramparts and towers intact and there are fantastic views from the towers. Inside the castle, a real effort has been made to bring the place alive for children. As well as the usual old furniture, tapestry and paintings, many of the rooms show scenes from the time they depict, with wax figures in full costume and sound effects. The Kingmaker exhibit is particularly good, featuring scenes from Neville's preparations for battle, including a blacksmith at work and armourers making chainmail. The weapons collection, Death and Glory, is also fun for children, as there are swords you can lift to feel the weight and helmets to try on. There's also a lot going on outside the castle. There are shows on every day, each one usually shown more than once so you shouldn't miss out. We enjoyed watching the trebuchet firing its massive steel ball and my daughter was transfixed by the falconry show. At this time of year you can get some good discounts on tickets online. For example, 365tickets.com has to buy 'one get one free deal' until mid-April.
