About Redwings Horse Sanctuary Mountains
Set in 220 acres of beautiful paddocks and woodland, Redwings Mountains provides a place of sanctuary to 90 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules – not forgetting two sheep called Toffee and Treacle, as well as bountiful wildlife including red squirrels and mountain birds.
There’s the chance to enjoy guided tours and demonstrations, and special activities are organised for families in the school holidays. Enjoy a tasty lunch in the café and browse an on-site gift shop offering a range of souvenirs, with all proceeds supporting the hundreds of horses in Redwings’ care nationwide.
Visitors can support the work of Redwings by sponsoring one of Mountains’ friendly resident ‘Adoption Stars’, either for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one. A year’s membership to the Redwings Adoption Scheme costs just £15!Read Less
