Lovingly rescued in the mid 1950s by Lord and Lady lliffe, the house is a recreation of the original mansion, fully restored with an elegent interior and 18th century fixtures and fittings. Guests can marvel at the fine paintings, fabrics and furniture, can treat themselves to a delicious cream tea or can simply take a stroll through the 400 acres of historic parkland - in one of the waymarked trails.
