About Barleylands Farm Park & Craft Village
Discover free range family fun at Barleylands. In the Farm Park get close to farmyard friends and join in daily animal activities in the indoor animal barn and come face to face with 55 enclosures of amphibians, lizards, snakes and insects in the Reptile House. There’s so much to do indoors and out with soft play, birds of prey, the miniature railway, tractor & trailer rides, farming history in the discovery centre, the enormous jumping pillow and more. Plus look out for special events every school holiday! Next door the Craft Village has over sixty unique shops and studios to explore and you can see crafters in action. There is also an Italian Caffe serving homemade dishes and treats, regular Farmers Markets and even an annual Essex Country Show.

| Opening Times: | Farm Park Open every day from 10 am* March to October: Close at 5pm (closing at 4.30pm on 30th & 31st October in advance of Spooky Nights). 4th November to February: Close at 4pm. (Please note there are restrictions during the Essex Country Show Weekend in September) Craft Village Free entry and open Tuesday to Sunday* March to October: 10am to 5pm. November to February: 10am to 4pm *Except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day (Farm Park will be open until 1pm on Christmas Eve & New Years Eve & 3pm on Spooky Night) and on the second weekend in September for the Essex Country Show. |
