Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome, near Maldon, has been awarded a £5,500 grant from the Essex Community Foundation to support Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) activities. The grant, which was awarded from the Link-ed Mike Williamson Memorial Fund and Yellow Car Charitable Fund, is allowing the experienced team at the WW1 aerodrome to host two fantastic activities on the 5th and 8th of April and continue to drive forward its already popular STO-Kers club on the first Saturday of every month.
