Second time of asking!

Our second visit this year having left ourselves with too little time first time round to get all around the site. Well worth the effort of travelling from Herne Bay in Kent and we will be back! The day was leisurely and very much "up our street", also availing ourselves of the excellent restaurant for a snack.

Tropical Wings is one of those days out that I can always rely on. We were given a years pass last year, and I didn't really think we'd use it much - however after our first visit to Tropical Wings, we couldn't stay away. It's big enough to spend several hours - and I enjoy it with our without the kids. There's a big play area (with a coffee machine!) which the kids love - and then of course there's all the animals. I had always assumed that Tropical Wings was just butterflies - but there's hundreds of animals as well, from birds (parrots, owls, birds of prey), to insects (leaf cutter ants, spiders), snakes, and of course meercats! There's a number of other animals at Tropical Wings, which I can't remember - but there's enough inside and out to have a fantastic time regardless of the weather. Of course, if you don't like animals - this probably isn't for you - but if you do, it's a lovely day out - one of my favourite, and I'd highly recommend it.
