On the 11th October, it was announced, by the University of Manchester’s Whitworth, that Alistair Hudson has been appointed and the new director for the Art Gallery. Taking up his role in the New Year, Hudson succeeds Maria Balshaw, as she moves to the position as Director of the Tate.
