About Groombridge Place Gardens & Enchanted Forest

Visit Groombridge Place near Tunbridge Wells where everyone can have a special day.

Discover the beautiful award-winning gardens and the forest with its giant swings, zip wires and Crusoe’s World. Jane Austen’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’ was filmed at Groombridge Place, find out more about this and our other literary connections.

The birds of prey flying displays will also take place twice a day and the canal boat will run between the gardens and Crusoe’s World in the Enchanted Forest.

‘Have a go Archery’ will take place every day (subject to weather) in collaboration with Arcus Archery.  Children over six and adults can take part in an archery session with an expert instructor.  The cost will be £5 for 10 arrows or £10 for an hour-long instructor-led session, which can be booked on arrival.

Watch the majestic peacocks from the Peacock Bistro and stroll round the lovely gardens which overlook the attractive moated 17th century manor house.   Children will love the giant chess set and the secret garden with streams that feed the moat.

The Restaurant and Coffee Bar will be open daily serving hot and cold drinks, as well as tasty lunches, cakes and cream teas.

The attraction is less than 4 miles from Tunbridge Wells and accessible by road or via the Spa Valley Railway (check their timetable before travelling).

New for summer is the Mega Blaster Arena where everyone can have fun and games with nerf.  There is also two Supa-soaker arenas and a firing range where the highest scores win a nerf gun!
