About Quebec House

Quebec House in Kent was the birthplace of General James Wolfe, a British officer known for his victory at the Battle of Plains of Abraham in 1759 (aka Battle of Quebec) - the house was renamed 'Quebec House' after said Victory. The house is now owned by the National Trust and guests can visit the exhibition, with memorabilia and paintings, on the life of Wolfe and the Battle of Quebec.  When visiting Kent Quebec House is well worth a visit, for both its history and stunning architecture.
