About Brockholes Nature Reserve
Brockholes is the flagship nature reserve of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
An old quarry site located straight off junction 31 of the M6 at Preston, Brockholes has something for everyone, from expert birdwatchers to young families on a day trip.
Featuring the spectacular floating Visitor Village, which hosts a year-round programme of events designed to inspire people about the natural word, gift shops and a restaurant, Brockholes offers one of Lancashire's best days out.
In addition there are around 250 acres for you to explore, from ancient woodland to riverside views, and there are several walking trails, as well as regular guided walks.
