About Merseyside Maritime Museum
Housed in the Grade I listed Albert Dock Merseyside Maritime Museum explores Liverpool’s historic seafaring past. Boats, paintings, ship models, shipwrecked objects, uniforms and more bring Liverpool’s nautical history to life and uncover the development of the world famous port.
Discover the city’s pivotal role as the gateway to the new world with displays exploring Life at Sea and the Battle of the Atlantic and the blockbuster exhibition Titanic and Liverpool: the untold story.
Based in the Merseyside Maritime Museum the International Slavery Museum looks at the transatlantic slave trade with galleries on Life in West Africa, Enslavement and the Legacies of Slavery.
