Eden Project celebrates Cornish Folklore

The Eden Project has long been a staple of Cornwall, but the rich Cornish history is being celebrated between in January. Yes, the folk songs and puppet shows are just some of the celebrations being undertaken over the weekend of January 13th & 14th.

Packed with family fun, there will be creative and interactive activities for all ages, to enjoy at the Folklore, Fables and Faeries weekend. All weekend, the Eden will host a celebration of wildlife and faery myths in Cornwall, at the Squashbox Theatre.

Eden Live Project Lead Marion Harrison said: “We love celebrating all things Cornish at Eden through great storytelling and magical displays and this is exactly what’s on offer for this weekend.

“It’s really exciting to have Squashbox Theatre back. We’re sure that the mischievous pisky Skillywidden and all of his dancing faery friends have some fantastic stories to tell.”

Part of a weekend of family fun, Launceston harmony vocal and guitar band, The Countrymen, will be playing a mix of popular Cornish music with an exciting new twist. Guaranteed to get the whole family dancing and moving, this weekend of folky fun takes place on January 13th and 14th.
