On the 6th June 2018, Gary Barlow will grace the stage at the Eden Sessions for an evening of musical entertainment! One of Britain’s most loved singer-songwriters, Gary Barlow is the first artist to be announced for the series of outdoor gigs at the Eden Project, in Cornwall. Barlow is a huge success, with over 10 number one singles and six Ivor Novello awards throughout his career, solo and in Take That.
Judging shows such as ITV’s The X Factor and the BBC show, Let it Shine – over his career Barlow has worked with some huge names, such as Robbie Williams, Sir Elton John and Lily Allen to name a few. Rita Broe, Marketing Director at Eden said, “What a brilliant way to kick off our 2018 announcements.
“Gary Barlow is one of our finest musicians and songwriters and he is fast establishing himself as a true national treasure. His work as a solo artist and with Take That has provided the soundtrack for a generation and he continues to innovate and create new and original music.
“This summer was perhaps our best Eden Sessions yet, including incendiary performances from Royal Blood and Foals and incredible sets from legends Blondie and Van Morrison. We can’t wait to do it all again next year.”
The huge sessions have seen the likes of massive global artists like Bastille, Madness, Royal Blood, Blondie, Van Morrison, Bryan Adams and Foals grace the stage – and that’s just this summer. This exclusive event is unlike any other and 2018 marks the 17th year of the Eden Project’s opening.
