About Scarborough Art Gallery
Now managed by the Scarborough Museums Trust, the Scarborough Art Gallery was built by the Uppleby family in the late 1840s. This stunning Italianate villa is surrounded by Scarborough's lovely Crescent gardens. The gallery uses Art to tell the story of Scarborough and its vast history, with changing exhibitions as well the permanent collection, which has been built up over 60 years.
