About Papplewick Pumping Station
Designed in the late nineteenth century to pump clean water to the rapidly increasing population of Nottingham, this station has been well preserved over the years thanks to the Papplewick Pumping Station trust. The station holds regular stemaing events throughout the year as well as offering tours of the underground resevoir.
