About Glenside Hospital Museum
This hospital museum is home to a number of collections documenting the history of mental health treatments from the mid-nineteenth to the twentieth century. While that might sound like a daunting topic, the museum has many different exhibits and activities for anyone to enjoy, from quizzes, to real straitjackets and a padded cell and even an impressive local fossil collection with pieces that date back up to 150 million years.
