About Alvaston Park
Alvaston Park is a beautiful riverside park, first opening to the public in 1913. Visitors can take a picnic down to the lake and river, can try out some new tricks on the BMX track, can discover new things in the Science Centre or can simply take a stroll around the picturesque 85 acre park. With so much to see and do, all year round, Alvaston Park is the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon.
