About Derby Cathedral
This cathedral has heritage dating all the way back to the tenth century yet interestingly only became a cathedral in 1927. With a fascinating history, this building has several areas of note housed within including: the memorial to Bess of Hardwick, the Cavendish brasses and the 18th century rood screen created by skilled ironsmith Robert Bakewell.
