The hugely popular Brighton Pier is an icon for old-fashioned British entertainment and a trip to the beach will delight visitors for hours. Beachy Head is a wonderful, but different ‘seaside’ day out and the county also has its fair share of historical places to visit, with Battle Abbey & Battlefield, Bodiam Castle and the Royal Pavilion offering unique and absorbing glimpses into the past.
