About Paycoke's House and Garden
Built in the sixteenth century, this merchant's house stands tall to this day and is steeped in the history of Colchester's cloth trading industry. Constructed for Thomas Paycocke, venture through the timber framed interior doscivering the story of the house's growth and decline and eventual restoration. The garden too has be restored and the garden room coffee shop is the perfect place to stop and relax.
