Hadleigh Castle is a beautiful spot - you can wander there through the country park, or drive up to the visitor centre and short-cut through. Can get muddy if it's rained, and not particularly accessible through the country park for wheelchairs or buggies - but from the visitor centre it's easy enough. It is just a ruins, so don't expect gift shops or tour guides, etc. - but it is beautiful.

I went out with my parents, Uncle and Aunt and two young cousins and the whole family enjoyed the day out. The castle was fun to visit and there was a lovely view across to Kent. The petting farm was fun, teaching my cousins about the animals and getting lost in the hedge maze, then finishing the day at the cafe.
