About Glasgow Botanic Gardens
Located in the West end of Glasgow, the Glasgow Botanic Gardens is arguably the finest garden in Glasgow. Set up in 1817, the gardens have slowly expanded in order to house the expanding collections. Lieing beside the River Kelvin, visitors can enjoy a pleasant walk along the riverside, can take gentle strolls in the peaceful woodland areas or can explore the exotic tropical places. After taking in the stunning views visitors can enjoy a tasty treat in the Botanic Gardens Tearoom, where they can now use the newly created outdoor refreshment area to take advantage of the summer weather. When visiting Glasgow, the Botanic Gardens are a must see!
