About Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre
Sharmanka (Russian for Barrel Organ) is the fascinating joint effort of sculptor-mechanic Eduard Bersudsky, theatre director Tatyana Jakovskaya, and light and sound designer Sergey Jakovsky. Together they have created a hauntingly memorable show, telling ghoulish and funny stories through the use of carved figures and scrap moving to music and light. A performance here is an unmissable experience, and truly is a hidden gem within Glasgow.
