About Hester's Way Park
Hester's Way Park first opened its gates in 1957, undergoing considerable changes since then. A new play area was installed in 2005, including a fenced area for toddlers and a more open area for juniors, meaning that parents can sit back and relax knowing their children are safe and sound. For tree lovers, there are many fine examples of interesting, mature trees in the park - including the cypress oak and several varieties of conifers. In keeping with the original, informal design bulbs and wildflowers have been planted throughout the park, giving swathes of seasonal scent and colour.
