About Hatfield Park Farm
Hatfield Park Farm covers an area of approximately 25 acres on the West side of Hatfield House. The farm shows the animals in a natural countryside setting.
While walking amongst the paddocks, visitors can see donkeys, pigs, sheep, cows, goats, ponies as well as many types of ducks, chickens and geese. By taking advantage of the feeding stations, visitors can see them up close. Children can play in the sand pits, bounce around on the tractor tyres and climb up and over the wooden tractor or take a trek along the goat pass, a play challenge in the heart of the farm.
There are also tractor and trailer rides around the farm daily, weather permitting.
Next to the Farm is Bloody Hollow, our popular play area with a 2.5m scale model of Hatfield House for children to play in, on and around, as well as a rope bridge, tree house and all of the family favourites. There is also a family picnic area just by the Bloody Hollow.
Parking in George’s Car Park is free, Sat Nav AL9 5HX and Hatfield Railway Station is within walking distance.
