Kirton-in-Lindsey (aka Kirton Lindsey), North Lincolnshire, is a small town and civil parish situated 7 miles south-east of Scunthorpe. Kirton Lindsey was once home to Catherine Parr, Henry VIIIs sixth wife, when she married Sir Edward Burgh - her first husband.
