Dinosaur On The Loose

One of Port Lympne’s dinosaurs is missing

One of the dinosaurs at Kent’s award winning wild animal park, Port Lympne Reserve, has been confirmed as on the loose.

Managing Director of Port Lympne Reserve, Bob O’Connor, said: ‘Our Centrosaurus is currently loose around the County.  I would like to urge members of the public to remain calm; our experts have confirmed that the creature is safe to approach.’

The Reserve, near Ashford has issued a statement via its social media channels assuring the public that the mighty beast does not pose a threat, but have appealed to the public for help in tracking the creature’s whereabouts.

Bob added: ‘We’re appealing to members of the public to help track our Centrosaurus’ movements by taking pictures and sharing these on our social media sites using #DinoTour’

The life size creature, last seen near Ashford, is thought to be travelling throughout the South East and the Reserve’s experts have speculated that it may even venture into the capital city during its rampage.  It is estimated that the creature will travel several miles during a day and may be drawn to popular areas including high streets, shopping centres and landmarks.

Bob commented: ‘We hope that with the publics’ help, we’ll be able to locate our dinosaur in time for the opening of Dinosaur Forest this Easter, which is set to be the largest dinosaur exhibit in the UK.’

Dinosaur Forest is set to open at Port Lympne Reserve on Friday March 25th 2016.  For further information, including opening times, entry prices and special events, please visit www.aspinallfoundation.org/portlympne
