Fans of country music can sail away to another world this May, when Islands in the Stream comes to Blackpool Grand.

The definitive tribute to the greatest country music stars – Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers – takes its brand-new tour around the UK in 2016, stopping off in Blackpool for one night only.

Islands in the Stream is set to be a night like no other, featuring the two unforgettable talents of Andrea Pattison as Dolly and Peter White as Kenny. Andrea is better known for her solo act, The Dolly Parton Story, which has earned her the title of UK’s best Dolly Parton impersonator.

The stage show will feature all the best hits from the country-music duo, including Jolene, Ruby, 9 to 5, Lucille, Here You Come Again, The Gambler, I Will Always Love You, Coward of the County, Love is Like a Butterfly and Lady.

Audiences will be whisked away on the story of Dolly’s rise from a Smoky Mountain’s farm girl to country music superstar, with exceptional vocals, powerful performances and stunning musicianship.

Capturing the gentle humour of Dolly and Kenny’s legendary live shows, Islands in the Stream is a must-see for any country-music fan.
