On 18th May 2013 as part of Museums at Night, actors will bring the evocative old building to life, giving visitors the opportunity to discover more about medical history in a very interactive way! Take a stroll through our 1842 street and say hello to the Victorian street artists - but don't get conned! Meet our wise woman and hear what she has to say about magic herbal remedies and chat to the workhouse inmate who is forced to scrub the museum steps! Keep an eye out for doctors of the past and talk to a space-age surgeon about futuristic medicine.
This will be an event to remember, perfect for families and groups who want something more from a museum visit. Tickets cost £8.00 for an adult and £5.00 for a child, please telephone 0113 244 4343 to book a place or for further information. Car parking is available on site for £1.00. The event runs from 6pm - 9pm on the 18th May 2013.
