Go Wild at Chatsworth Farmyard This February Half Term

Calling all cowboys and cowgirls. Chatsworth is staging a Wild West week at its farmyard and adventure playground this February half term. Blast the cowboy targets from the trailer ride, dare to handle the spiders and snakes and take a shot in Tin Can Alley in this action filled week.

Wild West themed craft activities will take place every day in the large indoor barn, along with daily small animal handling sessions and talks under the canopy, demonstrations from a wool spinner and an indoor picnic room, making the farmyard a great place to visit this half term whatever the weather.

As well as seeing how animals live in a real farmyard, from ponies and donkeys to cows and chickens, the woodland adventure playground is a great place to let off steam with its climbing forest, spiral slides, scramble nets, splashy fun and sand pits.

The Farmyard Café is a great place for children and grown-ups to recharge their batteries offering family friendly food with freshly made sandwiches, cakes and pastries and children's picnic boxes.

The farmyard is open from 15 - 23 February from 10.30am - 4.30pm every day, with last entry at 3.30pm. Spiders and Snakes workshops run from February 15 to 21 and the Wool Spinner is in residence February 22 & 23. For details of each day’s activities and ticketing options, go to www.chatsworth.org
