Howletts Announces New Prices: Kent's original wild animal park slashes prices on day tickets.

A brand new pricing structure for day entry tickets to Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury, has been announced, with prices at their lowest for several years. Managing Director, Bob O’Connor, explained: ‘we’ve reduced our day entry prices to just £15.95 for an adult and £12.95 for a child. Now our visitors can enjoy a really affordable day out to see the only exotic endangered species in the County,  including the only baby black rhino in Kent, the largest herd of African elephants in the UK, gorillas, big cats, small cats, primates and more.’

Howletts is home to the world’s largest collection of critically endangered western lowland gorillas and the largest herd of African elephants in the UK, offering its visitors the chance to get up close to Amur tigers, Northern Chinese leopards, lions and wolves in their glass fronted enclosures and walk with lemurs, as the Madagascan favourites explore the branches overhead.

Amongst 100 acres of historic parkland, with wooded walkways and pathways to explore and fun and fact filled animal talks taking place at various times throughout the year, so there’s plenty for visitors of all ages to discover and enjoy.

For just £7.00 per person visitors can also try their hand at the exciting Treetop Challenge – an obstacle course, set high in the trees with rope bridges, tyre curtains, cargo nets and zip wires.  Younger adventurers can enjoy the Animal Adventure Challenge featuring slides, swings and more, for £2.50 per child.

Howletts is a breeding sanctuary for some of the most rare and endangered species in the world.  With over 450 animals and over 50 individual species including adorable baby black rhino, Kasungu visitors have the opportunity to see real animals, real close and be part of real conservation in action.

Bob added: ‘Every ticket purchased helps us to continue our vital work saving endangered species.  Our visitors can be part of real conservation in action, whilst enjoying one of the most affordable days out in Kent.’
