A mix of interactive talks, fun family activities and a big, blue, cuddly shark will tell you all you need to know about sharks at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium this May.
From May 19 – 31, guests can come face to fin with more than 15 amazing sharks in the attraction’s awesome Shark Reef Encounter display, learn all about their threatened world plus how everyone can do a little bit to help make a big difference. The SEA LIFE experts will give bite-sized shark talks every day, kids will love meeting Shakey the Shark on his daily personal appearances and there will also be special themed family activities.
At the same time the attraction is launching their new Shark Watch initiative, which invites visitors to observe the aquarium’s black tipped reef sharks and note down any mating behaviour, enabling guests to become part of SEA LIFE’s exciting breeding programme for these fascinating creatures.
There’s also an entire marine world to explore including piranha, rare giant Green Sea turtles, tropical fish, rays, crabs and jellyfish – and for the intrepid, a special Snorkelling with Sharks VIP experience.
Shark Weeks will also be running at other SEA LIFE Centres around the country.
