Meet Santa on board the Kent & East Sussex Railway

Meet Santa at one of Kent's best loved attractions this Christmas when you take a magical steam train journey on The Kent & East Sussex Railway's popular Santa Specials.

Upon arrival you'll be greeted by the sounds of a traditional pipe organ and the sight of the Victorian carousel.

On board the festively bedecked steam trains families will meet Santa Claus during the hour and ten minute return journey to Northiam Station. Children should also look out for the elves whose sacks are full of lovely presents. Every child up to the age of 12 will receive an age appropriate quality gift to take home and put under the tree. 13 - 15 year old children will each receive a gift of festive chocolates.

After your train ride the fun continues at Tenterden Station. Families can meet the beautiful Snow Queen for a photograph taken by the resident professional. Each family member included in the picture will instantly receive their very own colour photograph as a memento of their day. Visitors can enjoy unlimited rides on the Victorian carousel.

For a small additional cost the Railway's licenced restaurant serves a selection of hot lunches and snacks or there's always delicious takeaway food from the BBQ.

All prices include an hour and ten minute train ride to meet Santa, a present for each child, and a photograph with the Snow Queen.

Tuesday December 24 - Standard Class: £19.00 First Class: £22.00.
