Port Lympne Reserve has now welcomed five brand new Chapman's zebra to their African experience. Moved from Marwell Zoo in September, they are enjoying new life if their 100 acre home. Normally living in large herds known as dazzles, these zebra are a subspecies of plains zebra that can be found in the wild from the northeast African savannah, to Zimbabwe, Botswana, the Caprivi Strip in Namibia, and southern Angola.
In other news, this popular wildlife attraction has announced a full programme of free events and activities for October half term, including competitions to win prizes and free animal talks.
